Membership Insurance
As part of our ELD membership package with Insurance add-on we are pleased to offer:
- Public Liability insurance; this provides indemnity in respect of your legal liability to pay compensation, including legal costs for accidental death or personal injury to any person (excluding employees) arising from your business activities (ie your class).
- Professional Indemnity insurance; this provides indemnity in respect of negligent acts, errors omissions, employee dishonesty, libel and slander, unintentional breach of confidentiality, loss of document or infringement or unintentional breach of written contract.
We cover up to £10,000,000 in any one claim for Professional Indemnity and Public Liability.
This comprehensive insurance package not only covers you for all your weekly classes, but also for unlimited social events throughout the year!
We are also able to provide you with cover to teach abroad AT NO EXTRA COST! This needs to be looked at on a case by case basis, please contact us for more information.
PPL Music License
We are very pleased to announce that we are an approved PPL agent, this means that we are now a ‘one-stop’ shop for all your needs to run a fully legally compliant class.
As a line dance class, license PPL027 is required, this covers you for all your classes and social events throughout the year. The fees for PPL are detailed below:

The maximum attendance figures include each individual attendance at both your classes and social events, for example;
Susan runs a weekly class on a Monday afternoon for an average for 15 people, she has a Thursday class which has 20 people and she runs 4 socials a year attended by an average of 40 people each time and closes for 2 weeks over Christmas each year. This means Susan would fall into the first bracket and her PPL license would be £98.77 (15 x 50 = 750, 20 x 50 = 1,000 and 4 x 40 = 160; average annual attendance = 1,190)
